Horahora is a suburb on the southwestern side of Whangarei, in Northland, New Zealand.[1]

The population was 1,026 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 45 from 2001.[2]

Education

Hora Hora School is a co-educational contributing primary (years 1-6) school with a decile rating of 2 and a roll of 318.[3] The school opened in 1893 and moved to its present site in 1925.[4]

Hora Hora RFC (also known as Hora Hora) is a rugby club located on Te Mai Road, Whangarei, New Zealand. The premier club currently participates in the Northland Rugby Football Union's (NRFU's) South Zone premier competition.

Hora Hora FWC (also known as The Monster Girls) is a female wrestling club located on the district, the club specializes in pinning and submission techniques.
